One Year with Jeong

With today marking one year since our launch, we wanted to reflect on some of our favorite moments and thank everyone who has supported us during our journey. While this past year has been marked with uncertainty and irregularity, it has also been filled with new friends and sweet memories.
When our team began working together, many of our early conversations gravitated towards the warmth and care we’ve experienced in our personal lives. We connected over stories about interactions, places, smells, and even songs that bring back memories of comfort for us. We all recounted times when our friend’s parents would greet us by asking whether we’ve eaten while offering food. Or how certain aromas transport us to favorite places from our childhood. These conversations inspired our process and shaped how we want to share specialty coffee.
For the first eight months, our team had been meeting virtually and were spread out between the East and West Coast. We finally met in-person in New York to prepare for our upcoming launch. It’s hard to believe that the three of us met as a group for the first time only a little over a year ago.
In the spring of 2021, we were invited by our friends at Light & Salt Collective to participate in their pop-up markets in Los Angeles. We loved meeting everyone there and were so thankful for the opportunity to share our story in-person.
From the moment we launched, we’ve been so stunned and thankful whenever people express their support and encouragement for Jeong. Whether a kind message or a feature by other creatives, we’re always amazed and grateful for the love we receive as we continue to grow.
Thank you so much for all your love and support this past year. We feel blessed for this journey and all the people we’ve met along the way. We look forward to this coming year, and we wish you all a wonderful holiday season!
